But how does the Smart Pallet Mover (SPM) work?

It is a mobile pallet management solution for automating pallet transport around manufacturing machines and for production-related picking and sequencing processes, which can also be used in Industry 4.0 environments.
The applications of this mobile, autonomously operating system are several: buffering, palletizing, pallet sortation and pallet management by production machines. Also, the SPM can connect all your production cells together in one, integrated process chain. It works well with forklifts or AGVs, or even combined with pallet conveyors like the Interroll Modular Pallet Conveyor Platform (MPP).

THE SM1000 MOVER

The core of the solution is a smart, battery-operated mover that can interface intelligently with other machines.

THE CONVEYORS

The Mover runs on suspended tracks that are mounted right underneath the non-driven rollers.

STRONG AND ROBUST

The SPM is designed to transport and buffer boxes or pallets weighing up to 1000 kilograms.

SMART AND SAFE

For your safety, the robot is equipped with a large number of sensors that ensure that it cannot collide with objects or people.

THE SM2000 TRANSFER CAR

A battery-operated Transfer Car (SM 2000) that runs on a rail transports the pallets between parallel conveyor lines.

SPECIAL MODULES

Depending on the desired application, special modules such as Pallet Dispensers and Scissor Lifts will be available as an option in the future.
